I am comfortable saying that [the loved-up couple in the front row will be miserable when their relationship inevitably ends] because I know enough to know that when you are in love, it doesn’t even enter your thoughts. I am portraying them as the victims but clearly I am the victim because I’m the moany old wizened fool sitting on the couch prodding people who are happier than me. People can laugh because it’s clearly me who has the problem.
